There is a major divide between traditional Christians and the LDS culture. The divide is so wide that even the most simple conversations can end in misunderstandings and hurt feelings. It is only through better understanding the Mormon culture that Christians will be able to begin to speak effectively, rationally, and powerfully to their LDS friends and family.
What am I doing now for Christian Education?:
• I often meet one on one with those who are trying to witness to an LDS friend or family member, offering advice, insight, and understanding of the situation.
What are my goals concerning Christian Education?:
• I consider this a major component of my ministry. I am currently saving toward purchasing a program designed by the Salt Lake Theological Seminary that is simply the best program I've seen for helping Christians overcome the communication divide. It is my hope that I will soon be able to bring this incredible presentation to area church groups.
